Mahatma Gandhi (1869–1948) was an Indian lawyer, anti-colonial nationalist, and political ethicist who led India's nonviolent resistance against British rule. Gandhi's autobiography, "The Story of My Experiments with Truth," details his philosophy and life experiences.
