Elliot N. Dorff

Elliot N. Dorff is an American Conservative rabbi and a prominent bioethicist. He is a professor of philosophy at American Jewish University in Los Angeles, where he teaches Jewish law and ethics. Dorff is a credible authority on bioethics, having written extensively on the intersection of Jewish law and modern ethical issues. In addition to "Matters of Life and Death," he authored "To Do the Right and the Good" and "Love Your Neighbor and Yourself."
