Edwin Arlington Robinson

Edwin Arlington Robinson (1869–1935) was an American poet known for narrating the lives of ordinary people with precision and restraint. Born in Head Tide, Maine, he lived much of his life there and published his work through the early 1900s. He is credible on poetry because he wrote extensively and received major recognition, including a Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. Other notable works include The Children of the Night and The Man Against the Sky.
