Scott M. Cutlip

Scott M. Cutlip (1915–2000) was a pioneering figure in public relations education and practice. He was a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he significantly contributed to the academic foundation of public relations. Cutlip co-authored the seminal textbook "Effective Public Relations," first published in 1952, which is widely regarded as a foundational text in the field. He also authored "The Unseen Power: Public Relations, A History," further establishing his expertise and influence in public relations.
