Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar (born 24 April 1973) is an Indian former international cricketer, widely regarded as one of the sport’s greatest batsmen. He played 200 Test matches and 463 One Day Internationals for India, spanning 1989–2013, and won numerous awards including the Bharat Ratna. He is credible to write Playing It My Way because it draws on his firsthand career experience and reflections on technique, mindset, and life in elite cricket. Notable other works include his autobiography Playing It My Way (2014).
