Burton J. Hendrick (1871–1941) was an American historian and biographer known for research-based works on diplomacy and prominent public figures. He was credible on Walter H. Page because he authored The Life and Letters of Walter H. Page, drawing on extensive primary materials and correspondence related to Page’s career as a U.S. diplomat and ambassador. Other notable works by Hendrick include The Life of Theodore Roosevelt and The Letters of Theodore Roosevelt.
